Refund and Cancellation Policy

We provide a customized illustration and access to HUG team members to answer all your questions prior to making your decision to enroll. Further, we offer complete transparency regarding how the program works, all parties’ responsibilities, a zero-pressure enrollment policy and immediate access to proprietary information and tools. With several plan options, our fees are affordable for virtually everyone. No fee will be charged prior to enrollment.

All fees are non-refundable after a 24 hour period. Please contact us with questions before enrolling in the program. We reserve the right to deny enrolling any applicant due to our assessment of suitability. For plans offering financial coaching benefits, the plan must be a good fit at time of enrollment and thereafter for both the counselor and the client(s).

Unless cancelled in writing by email or postal mail 30 days in advance of the next billing date, automatic payments for the monthly payment plans will renew monthly after the 29 month minimum agreement.

Should services be cancelled prior to 29 months, the remainder of the fee shall be due in full. HUG reserves the right to continue drafting on a monthly basis in lieu of payment in full as a courtesy to the client.

EXCEPTIONS:

Should HUG decline to continue providing services to the client at HUG’s discretion, for reasons of incompatibility or suitability, HUG will cease billing any remaining fee but will not be responsible for refunding any part of the fee previously paid. This does not apply should the client discontinue using HUG’s services at the client’s discretion.

REJECTION OF APPLICANT:

If an applicant is rejected for enrollment by HUG, a full refund of all monies paid will be made to the applicant. 

If enrollee cancels in writing within 24 hours of enrollment, prior to activating their account, HUG will refund all fees paid.

UPDATES AND REVISIONS:

Notification of changes to this document will be emailed to the address you provided at the time of enrollment or the most recent email address we have on record. Please be certain your contact information is current and you have whitelisted HUGYourStudentDebt.org and HUGYourDebt.org in your email client to be sure you receive our emails.
